It’s been ten years since Milburn’s major label debut ‘Well Well Well’. Now the band, who kick started the Sheffield revival that would give birth to – amongst others – Arctic Monkeys and Reverend & The Makers, are back.
 
When Milburn parted company eight years ago, it seemed that they may be remembered only as an influence on more successful artists still to come – a band’s band perhaps. But over time it became clear that this music would not die. Instead the songs reached a new generation; spread by chants of ‘Miiiilburn’ at other band’s gigs and Social Media.
