Former Suede front man Brett Anderson's fourth album sees him make the brave decision to take a leap out of his comfort zone and usual way of writing. Going with collaborator Leo Abrahams' suggestion, he has made the new record by improvising in a recording studio and building songs from the raw material jammed out by three formidable musicians: himself, jazz improv drummer Seb Rochford (Polar Bear, Acoustic Ladyland) and bassist Leo Ross (The Big Pink).
