Welcome to Anemoia, a sonic journey through the lens of nostalgia and creativity. This album is the culmination of 38 years of life’s experiences, woven into a tapestry of sound that blends the past with the present.

As a child, I was captivated by my family’s stories and the tales of strangers I met on my travels. This longing for a bygone era is what the Greeks call “anemoia.” For me, the era that evokes those same emotions is the 1970s – a time when funk, jazz, soul, and disco peaked. I’ve spent years studying the greats, and now I’m reimagining those influences into something fresh and new.

Coordinating the busy schedules of ten talented artists presented its challenges, but the greatest reward lay in distilling our diverse styles into a cohesive, singular vision. This album is a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity. I’m grateful to them for placing their trust in me and allowing me to push the boundaries of their talents.
