Formed in 2015 by brothers Peter and Michael Anderson, the project stems from a lifelong musical partnership, with the brothers making music since the ages of nine and eleven. Peter Anderson is also a key member of Skinshape’s live band on vocals and guitar, while Beach for Tiger’s live line-up features six London-based musicians.

Recorded over an eight-month period between Library Studios in Haringey and SS2 in Southend-on-Sea, A Matter of Time captures the project’s blend of psychedelic textures, soulful melodies and disco grooves. The band previously released singles on French label Nice Guy Records, including ‘Closing That Door’, which has surpassed one million streams.

With its first-ever vinyl pressing, A Matter of Time offers a compelling introduction to Beach for Tiger’s distinctive sound.
