Our opening times are: Monday 10am - 5pm Tuesday 10am - 5pm Wednesday 10am - 5pm Thursday 10am - 5pm Friday 10am - 5pm Saturday 9am - 5pm Sunday 11am - 4pm What formats do you sell? We sell a large selection of new and second hand / preloved vinyl records. Our range covers many genres including indie/alternative, pop, hip hop, jazz, blues, funk, soul and electronic. You can shop by genre here. In addition to vinyl we also stock a range of turntables, Legend Vinyl cleaning kits and accessories and Applestump merch. I'm looking for a particular record, can you order it for me? We'll definitely try! Email us at shop@applestumprecords.com or get in touch on Facebook, or Instagram and we'll do our best to source it for you. Can I preorder a record? Yes, you can preorder records. We stock many new releases, which are uploaded to the site for preorder as soon as we receive information from the labels. To reserve your preorder, choose your record and go through the checkout process as usual. Once the album is released and delivered to us, we will send you an email notification. If you can't find the record you're looking for on the website, contact us at shop@applestumprecords.com, and we'll try our best to find it for you. We aim to keep our prices as low as possible. Any price increases between order and release will be honored at the original price, and any reductions will be refunded. We also confirm allocations for all preorder titles to ensure orders are as guaranteed as possible. Please note that release dates are subject to change, but we will keep you updated on your order's progress. While we aim to ship your record in time for the release date, there may be delays in receiving stock, leading to longer shipping times for new releases. Do you offer click and collect? Yes we do. If you're local to the shop simply choose store pickup at the checkout and we'll keep your record for you until you're ready to collect. I'm in a band, will you stock my record? We're always on the look out for new music so get in touch, we'd love to find out more. If we do decide to stock your record, this will normally be on a sale or return (SoR) basis. I represent an artist or a band, can I talk to you about selling their music? We love talking about new music and we love to champion new bands and artists, get in touch at shop@applestumprecords.com and someone will get back to you asap. Can my band play in the shop? National Album Day will return on Saturday 14th October and this year will take as its theme albums of the 90s, following themes set in previous years including Women in Music, Debuts and the 80s. Now in its 6th year, National Album Day aims to shine a light on the art form of the album, celebrating the creativity and artistry that goes into making an album. Keep an eye on our website and across our social media channels for the latest info! NATIONAL ALBUM DAY National Album Day will return on Saturday 14th October and this year will take as its theme 90s albums, following themes in previous years including Debuts, Women in Music and the 80s. Unlike Record Store Day, these titles are available to preorder right now for collection in store on the day! So no need to queue up all night, stay in bed and collect at your leisure. However, very much like Record Store Day, these titles are very limited and allocations will be capped and possibly reduced between now and the day itself. We will operate on a first come, first served basis on all preorders using order numbers, therefore, in the interest of fairness, all NAD preorders must be paid for in advance. So don't hang about, get those orders in sooner rather than later! We are even able to offer three months interest free credit with Paypal (subject to status). We don’t have any products to show here right now.

DELIVERY & RETURNS Applestump Records offer a number of delivery and collection options, you can choose your preferred delivery/collection method at the checkout. In Stock Items Orders placed before 2pm will usually be shipped the same day, provided all items are in stock. Orders placed after 2pm will usually be shipped the following day, provided all items are in stock. Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday, or over the weekend, will be shipped on Monday, provided all items are in stock. We do our best to keep our stock levels up to date but there may be times when items sell out between you placing your order and us picking it. We will let you know as soon as we can if this is the case. We also offer local pickup from our premises. Out of Stock Items Some items listed on our website are not kept in stock all the time and need to be ordered in from our suppliers, such as in the case of records marked 'online only', 'website exclusive' or 'online exclusive'. Although most of our distributors ship to us very quickly, they can take a little longer than the estimated time in busy periods (around Record Store Day, Christmas etc). Your order will be shipped once all items are in stock. If you'd like one of your items shipped before the others please let us know in the comments, this will incur an additional delivery charge. Pre-orders New records are usually released on a Friday. Where we can we'll ship pre-orders on Thursday, so you have your order on the day of release, although this may not be possible in some circumstances. If you use the local pick up option, your order will be ready to collect on the day of release ie Friday. As much as we'd like to, we're not allowed to let you pick up items before the release date. Release dates can be subject to change. We'll update release dates on the site as soon as we know of any changes. Pre-orders are shipped as and when they arrive. However, orders with multiple preorders arriving on different dates will be held until all items are available. Turntables and HiFi Equipment Turntables and HiFi equipment are shipped directly from the supplier and, in most cases, can be ordered either for collection from store or delivered to your home address. If you have any issues with your purchase please contact us on shop@applestumprecords.com . International Shipping We use Royal Mail's International Tracked service for all overseas orders. Prices vary depending on the size of order and where in the world they are being sent which is automatically calculated through our website. The buyer is responsible for all taxes or customs duty that may be added in country. Please note: We do not ship turntables or hi-fi accessories overseas. Returns Policy Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return your unopened record to us for an exchange or refund. Please see below for more information on our return policy. Returns All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached. Defective or Faulty Goods In the event that your item is faulty or defective please contact us on shop@applestumprecords.com to arrange a refund or exchange. Return Process To return an item, please email customer service at shop@applestumprecords.com . By placing an order for any goods with age restrictions, You declare that you are age 18 or over in order to purchase the goods. The price, delivery charges and description of the goods are displayed on our website. Such information is subject to change without notice. The price You shall pay for the goods is the price displayed on our website at the time We receive your order, with the exception of errors (see below). The price of the goods is displayed inclusive of VAT. You may choose to pay by any method specified on our website. If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, We will inform You as soon as possible. If it isn't possible to fulfil an orders we will issue a refund in full for the preordered item. Please allow 14 days for a refund to be processed and appear in your account. If We are unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of your order, We will inform you as soon as possible and You will be entitled to cancel the order. The Terms and Conditions and any Venue terms, conditions and regulations are collectively referred to as, “Conditions”. In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms and Conditions, and any other Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These Terms & Conditions operate in addition to the Ticket Terms and Conditions of the Venue including the Venue’s Ground Regulations. All Tickets are sold subject to the Conditions. Please read the Conditions carefully before purchase and raise any queries with Applestump Events before purchase. Your purchase of a Ticket constitutes your acceptance of the Conditions. It is your responsibility to check Your Tickets as, if you have made a mistake, it cannot always be rectified after purchase. Please check your Tickets on receipt carefully and contact us immediately if there is a mistake. If You have any special access requirements or concerns about any special effects (for example lighting, sound, audiovisual or pyrotechnic effects) which may be featured at the Event, please discuss any such issues before purchasing the Tickets by emailing shop@applestumprecords.com . Applestump Records and the Venue will use reasonable efforts to assist with any such special access requirements or concerns. You must produce a valid Ticket to gain access to an Event and You must keep possession of such Ticket at all times during the Event. Your Ticket may be invalidated if any part of it is removed, altered or defaced. We will not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed. Duplicate tickets will be issued at our discretion in collaboration with the Venue. If we issue a duplicate Ticket, we may charge a reasonable administration fee. Age restrictions may apply to some events, please see individual event information for further details. Where events are seated, seating is allocated on a first come first served basis. Cancellations and Changes We reserve the right to alter the advertised Event as may reasonably be necessary. Applestump Records and the Venue's total liability in relation to a cancelled Event is set out below. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the performance is cancelled, rescheduled or where there is a material change to the programme of the event. A ‘material’ change is a change which, in our reasonable opinion, makes the Event materially different to the Event that purchasers of the Ticket, taken generally, could reasonably expect. Please note that the following are not deemed to be a ‘material’ change: change of venue; adverse weather conditions; changes of any supporting act; changes to key performing individual members of a band; curtailment of the event where the majority of an event is performed in full; and delays to the starting of the performance of an event. It is Your responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or re- scheduled and the date and time of any re-scheduled Event. Where an Event is cancelled or re- scheduled, Applestump Records and the Venue will use their reasonable endeavours to notify You using the details You provided at the time of ordering. We do not and cannot guarantee that You will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event. It is also Your responsibility to inform us of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address You provided at the time of purchase of tickets for the Event. Where an Event is cancelled, rescheduled and you cannot or do not wish to attend the reschedule event or where there is a material change to the programme of the Event, You will be entitled to a refund in accordance with these terms and conditions. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of the Event, or for material changes to the Event, will be limited to a refund as set forth in 'Limitation of Liability' below. “Force Majeure” means any cause beyond our or the Venues’ control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic and/or pandemic, national mourning, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments. Neither we nor the Venue will not be liable to You for failure to perform any obligation under the Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure. The total refund for a Ticket shall be the face value of the Ticket purchased. Personal arrangements including travel, subsistence, hospitality or accommodation relating to the Event which have been arranged by You are at Your own risk. We shall not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure in addition to refunding the face value of the Ticket. Where an event is rescheduled or materially changed, please contact us at shop@applestumprecords.com within 1 month of being notified of the change or before the original date of the event, whichever is sooner. Following confirmation that you are eligible for a refund, the refund will be made in accordance with the payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds will only be made to the person who purchased the Tickets and proof of purchase is required. We reserve the right to alter the price of any Ticket at our sole discretion. If You have already purchased a Ticket to an Event and a cheaper ticket becomes available, we will be under no obligation to refund any portion of the Ticket purchased at the initial price. Limitation of Liability Neither Applestump Records nor the Venue will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to any person (including Yourself) or property however caused: (a) in any circumstances where there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed by Applestump Records or the Venue, (b) in circumstances where such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach (save for death or personal injury as a result of a breach of a legal duty of care owed by us or the Venue); or (c) to the extent that any loss or damage results from breach by You of any of the Conditions. Nothing in these Conditions seeks to exclude or limit any liability of Applestump Records or the Venue for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or any other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited. Ticket Resales Applestump Records and the Venue will not accept any ticket purchased from an unofficial secondary ticketing website. It is Your sole responsibility to ensure that the Ticket You have purchased is from an official ticket seller. You may not re-sell or transfer a Ticket if prohibited by law. In addition, re-sales or transfers of Tickets may be prohibited for the Event, pursuant to the specific terms and conditions of the Event (for example, but not limited to (a) charity Events, (b) Events where age restrictions apply because of the content of the Event or licensing requirements, or (c) balloted Events). Where a Ticket is offered for re-sale in accordance with the Conditions, You must provide the buyer with full details of the Ticket. Full details include (if printed on the Ticket) the relevant block or tier, and row and seat number. The buyer of a Ticket must be made aware of the Conditions and any other terms and conditions that are specific to the Event. You should check whether any special terms or conditions apply before offering a Ticket for re-sale. Free tickets are often provided for specific reasons limiting their transferability. You may not combine a ticket with any hospitality, travel or accommodation service and/or any other merchandise, product or service to create a ticket package (“Ticket Package”) and sell or otherwise transfer (or facilitate the sale or transfer of) such Ticket Package for profit or commercial gain, offer such Ticket Package as an incentive or prize in a promotion or competition, or otherwise dispose of such Ticket Package in the course of a business. Tickets are personal revocable licenses and shall at all times remain the property of Applestump Events. Any Ticket obtained in breach of the Conditions will be void. Any person seeking to use a void Ticket may be refused entry to, or ejected from, the Venue without refund, and may be subject to legal action. Void Tickets are non-refundable. Ticket Restrictions Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per customer. We will notify You of any such restriction at the time of purchase. We reserve the right, without prior notice, to cancel Tickets purchased in excess of this number, unless the purchase of an excess was due to our or the Venue’s error. Right of Entry Applestump Records and the Venue reserve the right to refuse You entry to and/or eject You from the Event and/or Venue (and may take appropriate action to enforce this right) in reasonable circumstances including without limitation (a) for health and safety or licensing reasons, (b) if You behave in a manner which has or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other persons at the Event, (c) if You use or display threatening, abusive or insulting words or mannerisms or behave in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace, (d) if, in our reasonable opinion, You appear to be acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs, (d) if You fail, when required, to produce proof of identity or age, (e) if You refuse to comply with security searches, (f) if You breach these Terms, or (g) if Your Ticket is void. No refunds will be given to You if You are refused entry or ejected due to Your own behaviour. We reserve the right to conduct security searches and confiscate any item which may cause danger or disruption to other persons at the Event or is one of the items not permitted in the Venue as listed in the Conditions (including those items listed in these Conditions). You shall not bring all or any of the following into the Venue: (a) smoking materials, (b) laser pens, (c) animals (except guide dogs), (d) Your own food and drink (unless permitted by the Venue), (e) bottles, cans or glass containers (unless permitted by the Venue), (f) any item which may be interpreted as a weapon (including sharp or pointed objects such as knives), or (g) illegal substances. Notwithstanding anything else in the Conditions, we shall not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items. You must comply with any and all instructions given to You by all Venue stewards and Venue staff. We or the Venue reserve the right to restrict access to parts of the Venue. Audio / Video Recording The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material within the Venue is strictly forbidden. You shall not bring any such equipment to the Venue or to the Event. Any recording or transmitting equipment (including professional cameras), unauthorised recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and/or destroyed. Any recording made of an Event or part thereof in breach of the Conditions shall belong to the us or the Venue and You agree to assign any and all rights in any such recordings to Applestump Records or the Venue. Notwithstanding anything else in the Conditions, neither we nor the Venue shall not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items. You give Your express consent to Your actual or simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any film, photograph, audio and/or audiovisual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers or the prevention of crime. Outstores An “outstore” is a promotional show that we host in a venue when the artist booked will attract a crowd too large to host in the shop. These are special fan events, usually in the week of album release, designed to maximise album sales and publicity. By purchasing an album/ticket bundle you will be helping the artist to secure the highest chart position possible. Although we do offer ticket only options (as we're obliged to do under chart rules), we urge you to consider buying a CD or vinyl bundle for a couple of pounds extra to support your favourite acts and help them to secure that prized number one slot. Shows are generally shorter than a “normal” gig, possibly in a more stripped back or acoustic style. They are fan events that offer the chance to see an artist in a more intimate space than they would usually play. "Ticket only" purchases are strictly 1 per person - multiple orders will be refunded. As with all Applestump Events, tickets are not physical. Tickets will be issued by email within 48 hours of purchase. Please read all subsequent communication you receive from us in case we need to update you on anything or notify you of any changes to the advertised show. We cannot process any exchanges for your album after the event. Please check the age limit of the show before purchasing tickets for anyone under 18. Please bring ID if you think you might need it to get served at the bar. Complaints If before or during the Event You have a complaint in relation to the Event (including without limitation, in relation to Your ability to view the Event), please promptly contact us via shop@applestumprecords.com if before the event, or a member of staff if during the Event. We will use reasonable endeavours to rectify the situation which is the cause of your complaint, however under no circumstances shall we or the Venue be under any obligation to rectify the situation. Data Protection Except to the extent that Applestump Records or the Venue is required or permitted by law to do otherwise, personal information provided by You to us will only be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2016 and any consents given by You in relation to Your personal information. General Terms Applestump Events or the Venue shall be entitled to assign all and any of its rights and obligations under the Terms and Conditions without notice to You, provided that You are not adversely affected by the same. If it is found by a court that any of the Conditions for any reason cannot be enforced for any reason, this shall not prevent the other provisions of the Conditions from continuing to apply. Any delay of Applestump Records or the Venue in enforcing any of the Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of our rights to do so. Any person, other than Applestump Records or Venue, who is not a party to the Terms and Conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of the Terms and Conditions. Nothing in the Conditions and no action taken by You or Applestump Records or the Venue under the Conditions shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, joint venture or establish a relationship of principal and agent or any other fiduciary relationship between You and Applestump Records or the Venue beyond the relationship created under the Conditions. The Conditions constitute the entire agreement between You, Applestump Records and the Venue in relation to the Tickets, the Event and the Venue, and supersede any previous terms and conditions, agreement or arrangement between You, Applestump Records or the Venue relating to the same. The Conditions cannot be varied or amended in any respect (unless agreed between You and Applestump Records in writing). You, Applestump Records or the Venue agree that it has not entered into the Conditions in reliance of, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, covenant, warranty, undertaking or indemnity by any person other than as expressly set out in the Conditions. Nothing in this clause shall operate to limit or exclude any liability for fraud. The Conditions do not and shall not affect Your statutory rights as a consumer. For further information about your statutory rights contact Citizens Advice, Consumer Direct or the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. If any dispute arises out of the Conditions, we will attempt to settle it. To this end we shall use reasonable endeavours to consult or negotiate in good faith and attempt to reach a just and equitable settlement satisfactory to both parties. Although this does not restrict Your rights to pursue court proceedings, if Applestump Records is unable to settle any dispute by negotiation within 21 days, the parties may attempt to settle it by mediation. To initiate a mediation a party must give written notice to the other parties the dispute and requesting a mediation. These Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Smoking (which includes e-cigarettes) within the Venue is strictly prohibited. We and/or the Venue reserve the right, without refund, to eject any person found smoking in the Venue. Warning – Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to Your hearing.

NATIONAL ALBUM DAY National Album Day returns for its fourth edition on Saturday 16th October, and this year will spotlight women artists and their huge contribution to music and culture through the art of the album. Revisiting iconic and influential albums by women artists, from the earliest pioneers to present-day legends, and pointing towards exciting new and future talent, the 2021 event will also highlight the integral role women play within the wider music community, not only as recording artists, but as songwriters, producers, and cultural influencers. 2021's ambassadors, who will be championing their love of the album between now and the build up to the day itself, are multi-platinum recording artist Sharleen Spiteri, 2021 Hyundai Mercury Prize shortlisted Laura Mvula, R’n’B/soul queen Ray BLK and BRITs 2020 Rising Star nominated Joy Crookes. With special edition reissues from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer, Eva Cassidy and Patti Smith there really is something to suit all tastes and not only will we have these titles in stock, we'll also be looking to host live music during the day to showcase some of our local female talent, check out our social channels for more details.
