This Record Store Day 2026 red coloured vinyl 2LP release marks the 30th anniversary of Danny Elfman's score to the 1996 blockbuster movie Mission: Impossible.

The theme is known for its suspense-filled rhythm with an unusual 5/4 time signature, and the famous four-note motif that opens the piece: a musical nod to the Morse Code pattern for the letters M.I. (__ ��). This clever encoding not only ties the theme directly to the title but also reinforces the atmosphere of secret communications, covert operations, and puzzles that define the world of Mission: Impossible.
