PLEASE NOTE: 'Ticket Only' is limited to one purchase per person, multiple orders of Ticket Only option will be cancelled. We have added multiple album/ticket bundles to allow you to buy more than one ticket with a CD or vinyl album.

Albums will be available to collect from store from release date, Friday 9th October. If you're not able to collect from the shop please select 'yes' to postage when ordering your tickets and we'll send over a payment link. Please note, it will not be possible to collect your album from the venue on the night.

These exclusive fan shows are set up to help artists get more visibility and boost their sales during their album release week. Getting a great chart position can really help an artist get future gigs, promotions, and overall success. We want to help the artists we work with hit the highest chart position possible and the more albums we sell, the better their chart position, and the more awesome events we can put together in the future.

If you choose the Ticket Only option when booking for this gig (which we have to offer to follow chart rules), you’ll still get into the show and have a great time. But just so you know, you won’t be helping the artist’s album campaign or boosting their chart position. So, we really encourage you to grab an album bundle instead of just a ticket. To celebrate their debut album 'Keeping Up With The Joneses', The Lilacs invite you to a special series of intimate in-store performances; a completely unique take on their live show.

Stripping things back to their foundations, the band will perform reworked acoustic arrangements of tracks from the record and also their hits, offering a rare glimpse into the songs in their purest form. A more personal, up-close atmosphere, with stories, nuance, and moments you won’t see on a typical stage.

These performances are designed as a one-off experience, exclusive arrangements, limited capacity, and no repeat. A chance to connect with the album in a way that won’t happen again.

The Lilacs’ journey so far has seen the Wigan quartet sell-out a 2700-capacity headline show in Manchester, achieve a Top 10 Independent Albums Chart breakthrough with the ‘The 395 (To Forever)’ EP, win new admirers at every festival from the Isle of Wight to Truck, and play shows with the likes of Lottery Winners and The Lathums. Their rise so far has come in spite of immensely difficult times, with guitarist Sam Birchall recently getting the all-clear from cancer following a year of treatment - his story documented by both ITV and BBC.

But now it’s time for the indie-rock next wave hopes to look towards the future and once again raise the bar with the news that they will release their debut album ‘Keeping Up With The Joneses’ on October 9th via Scruff of the Neck.

‘Keeping Up The Joneses’ is full of the essential qualities that have powered The Lilacs’ rise so far - insistent melodies and mega hooks focused on universal tales (and fails) of young adulthood played with youthful passion. And as the album proves, they’re doing all of that, but with more power, confidence and verve than ever before.

‘Keeping Up With The Joneses’ was produced by Joe Cross (Courteneers, Hurts) and introduces eight brand new songs to The Lilacs’ growing songbook. It is completed by new recordings of their two biggest moments to date, ‘Vicarage Road’ and ‘Grace’ - simply the same songs that fans already know and love, but tighter and more dynamic than ever before.
