About the event
Fyfe Dangerfield is perhaps best known as the frontman & chief songwriter of cinematic- pop band Guillemots, whose debut 2006 album “Through the Windowpane” was shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize.
Over the past decade or so, he’s been harvesting a vast & mysterious body of #stuff, spanning the full ecstatic spectrum of creative colour.
The first fruits of this blossoming universe were shared in 2018, in the ground-breaking series “Birdwatcher” - twelve dreamlike episodes of music, songs, sounds & surreal conversation, with twelve accompanying artworks, available to listen to for free via Dangerfield’s new broadcast HQ & production house: Channels May Change (www.channelsmaychange.com)
Since then, there’s been a tantalising breadcrumb trail of one-off singles, music videos, archive releases, track snippets (the latter largely to be found on his instagram page) .. and even an album of piano improvisations recorded on an iPhone .. but rumour has it that the…
